The Zortrax Curing Station is designed to provide necessary UV curing for models printed on Resin 3D Printers. Its fully automated, UV exposure time is set individual for each supported resin. It has been designed as a companion device for the Inkspire 2 but is compatible with most resin 3d printing technologies on the market.
Features
A post-processing device for removing excessive, unsolidified resin from the surfaces of models made on all types of photopolymer 3D printers.
The Zortrax Cleaning Station is a high-quality post-processing device that removes uncured resin from 3D printed parts. With its impeller-based system, the risk of damaging details is minimized, making it an ideal choice for professional 3D printing applications. The device offers a spacious workspace of 300 x 210 x 270 mm and has a large tank capacity of 18 liters, making it suitable for cleaning a range of printed parts.
Here are some of the top features of the Zortrax Cleaning Station:
Two mechanical filters: a polypropylene cartridge (1 micron) and a stainless mesh cartridge with UV lighting (150 microns)
An excessive cleaning fluid level sensor to prevent overfilling
A flow meter that prevents operation without cleaning fluid in the system
Large tank capacity of 18 liters
Spacious workspace of 300 x 210 x 270 mm
COMPATIBLE WITH ALL RESIN 3D PRINTERS
The Zortrax Cleaning Station is a versatile post-processing device that is compatible with all major resin 3D printing technologies like UV LCD, SLA, and DLP. It is designed to clean relatively large models, thanks to its high-volume tank. Moreover, it offers full functionality when paired with all resin 3D printers on the market.
Works with all major resin 3D printing technologies
High-volume tank for cleaning large models
Full functionality when paired with all resin 3D printers on the market
SUPPORTS TWO TYPES OF CLEANING AGENTS
The Zortrax Cleaning Station is designed to support two types of cleaning agents. The most popular cleaning agent used in the post-processing of resin 3D printed models is Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), which the device supports. For some materials, however, a two-stage cleaning process is needed. The first stage is done using glycol-based agents, and the second is done with standard IPA. Zortrax Cleaning Station is compatible with both cleaning agents.
Supports Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), the most popular cleaning agent for post-processing of resin 3D printed models
Can also work with glycol-based cleaning fluids for materials that need two-stage cleaning
EFFICIENT, ADJUSTABLE ROTOR CLEANING
Zortrax Cleaning Station uses a rotor with adjustable speed to circulate cleaning fluid, making the rotor more efficient in cleaning than ultrasonic cleaners. It is more delicate and does not damage intricate parts. The cleaning process takes roughly 5 minutes and is fully automated. Once the cleaning is done, the top cover opens up and the models are lifted out of the tank for retrieval.
More efficient rotor cleaning compared to ultrasonic cleaners
Delicate and does not damage intricate parts
Fully automated cleaning process
BUILT-IN IPA FILTERING SYSTEM
IPA cleaning fluid is circulated through a filtering system that catches remnants of the resin. This way, the IPA can be safely reused in multiple cleaning sessions. The lifespan of filters depends on the geometry and size of the cleaned models. It is recommended to check the filters' condition periodically and replace them when they are clogged.
